Live improv comedy is an art form that combines acting and quick-witted humor to create a totally unscripted, fast-paced comedy performance. Improv Effect creates scenes, games and songs entirely based on audience suggestions, similar to the television program “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
The Improv Effect improvisational comedy troupe will be doing a full 90 minutes of spontaneous improv comedy entertainment. Come be a part of the interactive show.

This will be thee 77th Annual Meninak Ocean Marathon Swim sponsored by the Meninak Club of Jacksonville. Activities will begin at 9:00 AM at the American Red Cross Lifeguard Station, located at the foot of Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville Beach.
The official Marathon Swim starting time is 10:00 AM 3.5 miles south of the Lifeguard Station in front of the Ponte Vedra Inn. Participating in the annual event will be approximately 50 lifeguards who are members of the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Savings Corps. Only members of the corps are eligible to take part in the Swim that will end in front of the Lifeguard Station. Meninak Kent Lindsey will be on hand to present trophies and t-shirts to the participants.

Tonca, who resides in an outdoor pond in the Hixon Native Plant Courtyard, will be removed from the pond for his annual check up and weigh in. How much will Tonca weigh this year?
